Welcome to
Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue!

Dedicated to rescuing and re-homing the most misunderstood breed in the
world:  one pit bull at a time.

In our first year (2013) as a rescue, we totaled 45 adoptions.
In 2014, we almost doubled that at 85!  We hope to have even more in 2015!

Thank you for all of your continued support - we couldn't do it without you.

Check out our Video highlighting a successful 2014!

Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue (BRPBR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit pit bull rescue organization located in Southeastern, Pennsylvania.  We are a small network of hardworking volunteers and foster homes dedicated to advocating for the most misunderstood breed in the world:  The American Pit Bull Terrier.  We are completely devoted to the positive promotion of the pit bull.  While we work strictly out of the Philadelphia and NJ areas, we network with rescue groups and other informative groups all over the world.

We do not have a brick and mortar location for people to visit, AKA a kennel or a shelter.  We rely solely on our foster homes to provide the love and care our dogs need until they find their forever home.  If you are interested in fostering, please visit our "Foster" tab on our website or send us an email for a foster application at bellareedpitbullrescue@aol.com.

We attend a lot of events in Pennsylvania and New Jersey!  Please see our "Events" tab on our website for dates and locations near you.

Your donations to our organization are 100% tax-deductible. Please consider making a donation to help further our cause. Include an email address or mailing address with your donation and we will send you a receipt for your tax purposes.

Friends, it has come to our attention that another organization claiming to be a charitable organization dedicated to rescuing pit bulls has recently begun operating in a nearby area. Unfortunately, that organization has chosen to copy language from the Bella-Reed website, including our trademarked mission statement:  "Dedicated to Rescuing and Re-homing the Most Misunderstood Breed in the World: One Pit Bull at a Time."

We can only assume that this other organization has chosen to copy our mission statement and other language from our website in an attempt to confuse our loyal patrons, donors, and volunteers. Please do not be confused! The other organization is not affiliated with Bella-Reed in any way and does not have authorization to use our mission statement. We have sent letters and consulted counsel about our potential recourse for the unauthorized use of our mission statement.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Thank you for your support.
